In 2009, Anna DeShawn founded E3 because we needed something different. We needed a media platform that uplifted the voices & the music for people who couldn’t get any airtime. This need still exists today and Anna is determined to ride media into its next era by utilizing online radio streams to play the music and tell the stories that need to be heard.



Our Team is so dope and we come together to create this beautiful thing called E3 Radio.

Founded by Dennis M. Kelly in 2004, Chicago Music Guide began as a reference for friends and quickly grew into a multimedia guide throughout the Chicagoland area. Chicago Music Guide holds a desire and mission to highlight, educate, and assist musicians and all those involved in the music industry in a timely, relevant, and personable fashion.

CHIRP is a volunteer-driven, community radio station that focuses on music, arts, and culture. The station can be heard on the north side of Chicago at 107.1FM and worldwide at <a href="http://chirpradio.org/">chirpradio.org</a>. We are live and local every day of the year from 6am-midnight from our studios in Chicago’s North Center neighborhood, and the city we live in is a key part of everything we do. CHIRP Radio plays a wide mix of local, independent, lesser-heard, and just generally good music from a variety of genres and eras. CHIRP DJs are true music fans who love to share their discoveries, new and old, with listeners. The station also features conversations with artists, activists, and other people doing interesting work, and our features department produces pieces highlighting Chicago’s diverse voices and stories.

Cicero Independiente is a volunteer-run, bilingual, independent news outlet for Cicero residents.
